Capabilities

Helicopter Applicators Incorporated (HAI) has available equipment and pilots personnel well versed in all aspects of the utility applications of the helicopter. We are capable of surveys, power line patrol, firefighting support, exploration services, long line work, film/photo missions, roof-top moisture surveys, and numerous unique applications are all accomplished safely and with skill of HAI personnel.

HAI's Bell Jet Ranger III's, Bell 206 L4, Bell UH1 204 and 205, and four OH 58's - all equipped with AgNav navigational computers - are versatile aircraft that can easily cover the gamut of utility requirements. Bubble windows, water buckets, video detection, electronic ground tracking devices and other modifications and tools are all available. HAI operates their charter operations under authorization from the FAA under Part 135.

Support vehicles are carefully designed to match the capacity of each aircraft they support, and are maintained to high standard. Ground support trucks are capable of being used as landing pads, and our aircraft can refuel while on top of the vehicles and running.

HAI's main facilities are located in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania; however, remote operations are supported using satellite facilities in Delaware, Mississippi and Florida.
